![]() ![]() Pale Moon has no, and I mean NO way to counter charge efficiently and easily. But the thing is, one way or another, you'll eventually get your soul going (hopefully). Wow, all that and I'm not even onto Pale Moon's biggest problem. Which is why Masked Phantom, Harri is terrible, or at least is one of the reasons. But early game soul blasts will kill you. Pale Moon can handle soulblasts very well in the late game, because you're guaranteed that you don't need EVERYTHING you have in the soul. Two: If you don't have those units in the soul.you're screwed. But you can still get some use out of them with things like Wandering Dragon and Hoop Master. And there's no way to put them back in the deck. The amount of times you'll scream because you put a heal trigger or a PG in there is astounding. One: A random soulcharge.is just a random soulcharge. As long as you're riding Masked Magician, Harri (and not Masked Phantom who is SHITTY and i'll explain that later), you can pump up the soul and eventually get what you need in there. A Harri build needs at least a Cutie Paratrooper or a Flying Peryton in there. The problem is, Pale Moon also needs a well set-up soul. So Pale Moon can get away with having way less cards in there. But unlike Dark Irregulars, unlike how much you have in the soul, it's more about what you have in the soul. Pale Moon as a whole is built around the soul. You've got to keep pretty good track of all of these, or you'll burn through them like wildfire. Your deck, your hand, your damage zone, your soul, your G Zone, even your drop zone in some clans. Which brings me to my next point! Lack of Resource Regeneration But again, there just aren't enough combo pieces to make this super viable, they're often rather restrictive, aaaand.they eat up your resources. The majority of the meta with things like Gear Chronicle down to Aqua Force is swinging lots of times, until you eat your opponent's hand to smithereens. On the other hand, there are cards like Card Dealer, Jacqueline, Moonlight Melody Tamer, Betty, and even Dragon Masquerade, Harri that push Magia towards multi-attacking. But a lot of the column-building clans can do better. Cards like Cutie Paratrooper, Intensely Sweet Clown, and Darkside Princess (who are all essentials in the deck) are very good at building columns, but they don't reach incredible Neo Nectar numbers typically. Multi-attacking, and swinging for big numbers. But they fall into one of two categories. Something I've noticed is there are many, many cards out there that are intended to support Harri. These are as follows: Mechanical Inconsistency However, there's a number of issues that hold the Harri build back from true greatness. It's not a new tactic, but Harri is the deck that does this consistently. This is actually a pretty good backbone to work off of, as it throws a wrench at a lot of control decks that rely on retiring your opponent's field. Harri's main gimmick, the * Magia keyword, revolves around calling units from the soul, and putting them back in the soul at the end of the turn. Now as for Harri's place in the meta.he's actually the best deck in Pale Moon in terms of the entire game! That being said, he's not in a good spot at all. Kinesis Megatrick, Coulthard x1 (G-GUARD) ![]() Jester Demonic Dragon, Wandering Dragon x1 (G-GUARD) Scream Dragon Master, Droll Kimberly x1 (GB8)Ĭhainsaw Megatrick, Furnival x1 (G-GUARD) assuming one had infinity money, here's what I'd put together: Well, welcome back and interesting that you want to play Pale Moon in premium.Shameless self promotion of the video i have on this. Right now, I would say there are two builds that are competitive and topping tournaments: It still is kinda fun in premium and does top here and there. The Harri/Nightmare Doll multi-attack deck. It takes advantage of the magia keyword from premium, as well as the multi-attack capabilities of the Nightmare Dolls, revitalized thanks to the rebooted Alice, to create a multiple attack nightmare for your opponent. This is a decklist from a person who topped with it, which you can find on CanYouSayG's blog: Thanks to the new Songstress from V-BT04, there is a loop that utilizes her that is making the rounds in tournaments. I only recently heard about it, so someone else should probably help you out with that and getting out a list. ![]() All I know is that it's deadly if it gets off, but very fragile and can easily be bested by rush decks if you can't get to the combo fast enough. G0: 1x Happiness Collector, 8x V crits, 4x Hopping Balloon, 4x V draw/PGs I think the most fun version of Pale Moon is the Nightmare Doll loop. G3: 4x V Golden Beast Tamer, 4x V Nightmare Doll Alice, 2x V Comicality Chimera G2: 4x V Humorous Chimera, 4x Nightmare Doll Ginny, 3x Flying Peryton G1: 4x V Brassie Bunny, 4x Masquerade Bunny, 4x Nightmare Doll Leslie ![]()
